Coach Joe Quattrocchi
Assistant Coach
Born and raised in Arnprior, I started hockey in the Arnprior Minor Hockey Association. I became a full time goalie at 8. I started my junior career with the Smiths Falls Bears at 16. In my 17 year old year I lead all Canadian goaltenders in wins (29) and was on the NHL central scouting draft list. That summer I was invited on a tryout basis to the Montreal Canadiens dev camp, where I was invited the next 2 summers following. At 18 I played for the Fort McMurray Oil Barons and then the Drayton Valley Thunder at 19, both members of the AJHL. My last year in Drayton we played in the first ever Junior level outdoor game in Fort McMurray. I left Drayton at 19 to go play NCAA for the Hamilton College Continentals. I’m #1 in all time saves and all time shots against, surpassing NHL’er Guy Hebert. I’m also top 5 in save percentage in the college’s 100 year history.
